Anthony Joseph Vidal journey from Spain to New Zealand and in 1905 he built his winery in a Hawkes Bay stable. It was there he became one of New Zealand’s early wine innovators.
In 1979 we opened New Zealand’s first winery restaurant where Anthony’s passion for sharing great wine and food lives on today and is celebrated by the flame on every bottle of our wine.
