Pure Elite Gold for Vidal at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards!

A fantastic result for Vidal Estate at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards on Saturday night, 12 November 2011, where the Vidal Reserve Series Chardonnay picked up the Pure Elite Gold award.

The 2010 vintage has produced a classic Hawkes Bay Chardonnay. Expressing site and season, this wine shows depth of flavour, complex minerality and a finely balanced palate that is elegant in style.

Since the inaugural Air New Zealand Wine Awards in 1987, Vidal Estate has won 13 trophies and has been named Champion Wine of the Show twice.
