Having left behind our original winemaking site in Hastings, Vidal now produces its wines in a state of the art winery built for quality. Located minutes from the majority of our Hawkes Bay vineyards, fruit can be processed immediately after harvesting ensuring fruit quality remains pristine. While the site has changed, the techniques remain the same. With the latest machinery and incredibly gentle winemaking equipment, our approach to taking the path of least resistance from land to bottle is enhanced reflecting the growing season and our terroir in greater detail. Alongside the winery is the Te Awa Cellar Door, a place where wine lovers can taste and purchase our wines in stunning surrounds.
